Mediation and Facilitation Experience:
Appointed in late 1992 by the NSW Department of Health as Co - Facilitator of community consultation concerning hospital reorganisation in western Sydney. This involved co-facilitating over 30 community consultation committee meetings and 6 public meetings with up to 600 people at each.
Appointed as Co-Facilitator/Mediator to assist state and local authorities to agree on a design for a rail-bus interchange in Blacktown.
Appointed as Facilitator by the NSW Department of Transport to conduct public meetings to assist community, state and local authorities to agree on a design for bus/rail interchanges at Liverpool, Ashfield, Cabramatta, Campbelltown, Central, Manly, Merrylands, Epping and Newcastle.
Appointed by the NSW Department of Transport to facilitate public meetings in regard to proposed new Thames Street Wharf and Elliott Street Wharf at Balmain.
Appointed by State Rail to facilitate public meetings in regard to easy access station upgrades at Ashfield, Bankstown, Lidcombe and Town Hall.
Appointed by the Australian Franchising Code Council as Coordinator of their Alternative Dispute Resolution Program under the Australian Franchising Code of Practice, 1993 - 1996.
Appointed as Consultant to Queensland Sugar Corporation to assist the industry to design a process for negotiations and disputes over payments to canegrowers.
Appointed in July 1994 as Co-Mediator of a Working Party established by the NSW Minister for Health to resolve conflict between doctors, health administrators and the community in a NSW country town.
Appointed by federal department of Environment Australia in early 2000 as Facilitator of waste oil recycling meetings held in Canberra, Brisbane and Adelaide. Development of Code of Practice, improving understanding about proposed legislation, understanding concerns.
Appointed in 1996 as Facilitator by Western Sydney Area Health Service to obtain community input into operation of the services in the area.

Mediator of Belrose Road Corridor dispute involving a local council, the NSW Department of Urban Affairs and Planning, the NSW Road and Traffic Authority and a community group representing up to several thousand residents.

Facilitator of employee and management issue discussions involving union representatives, management and staff representatives for Royal Botanical Gardens.
Facilitator of Whitecity development dispute, involving the local council, the land owner, National Trust and several community groups (representing several thousand local residents).
Facilitator of EPA community consultation on two draft noise policies. Reports drafted for each of 6 meetings.
Facilitator of Y2K (Millennium Bug) Workshop for NSW Fire Brigades.
Facilitator of Waste Forum Workshop for Willoughby City Council.
Consultant designing various dispute prevention and resolution schemes for industry and municipal government (including schemes for the Queensland Sugar Industry, National Institute of Accountants, Campbelltown City Council, etc).
Responsible for drafting policy and procedures for the Office of the Mediation Adviser, a national franchise dispute resolution scheme funded by the Federal government. Also drafting mediator assessment forms, information brochures, appointing mediators, analysis of statistical information, providing assistance to the parties and mediators. Responsible for the education and promotion of the Office of the Mediation Adviser.

Western Sydney Area Health Service consultative meetings in Blacktown and Mt Druitt.
Department of Transport consultative meetings with the community in regard to proposals to develop bus/rail interchanges in western Sydney. Including one meeting of over 200 people.
Liverpool-Parramatta Transitway community consultation.
Rail Access Corporation facilitation of community meetings and establishment of the Wombarra Drainage Project Monitoring Committee.
